INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Dear Customers,The security and protection of your personal data has long been our priority. In accordance with the relevant generally binding legal regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation), we would therefore like to inform you about the processing of your personal data in connection with purchases made in our online store and our mutual business cooperation with contractual partners.

II. FOR WHAT PURPOSE AND FOR HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA? 1. Personal data of contractual partners (or their contact persons), obtained when establishing mutual contact or in connection with concluding a contract and fulfilling related contractual obligations, and personal data of customers provided when purchasing or registering in our E-shop, are processed in the manner specified in this Article.
2. We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- performance of contractual obligations arising from a concluded contract and/or implementation of measures prior to concluding a contract – e.g. ensuring delivery of ordered goods by the selected delivery method;
- compliance with legal obligations imposed on us by generally binding legal regulations (e.g. Act No. 586/1992 Coll., on Income Taxes, as amended, Act No. 563/1991 Coll., on Accounting, as amended, and Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on Value Added Tax, as amended);
- our legitimate interest in relation to protection and enforcement of potential claims and optimization of our website presentation for the widest possible range of devices, including adaptation of offers to your preferences and sending commercial communications;
- your consent to receiving newsletters from the E-shop, provided that you have not previously made a purchase from us.
3. The personal data processed for the purposes specified in Section 2(a)–(c) of this Article include:
- Identification data (name and surname, or company name, Company ID No. and VAT ID No.);
- Contact data (address, telephone number, e-mail address);
- Payment data (bank account number);
- Information about your activity in the E-shop (type of device used, IP address, operating system, browser).
4. You are not required to create a user account in our E-shop in order to purchase the offered products. However, creating a user account significantly facilitates future purchases, during which you will no longer need to repeatedly enter your personal data necessary for processing subsequent orders, specified in paragraph 3 (provided you entered these details during registration). If you decide to create a user account, the legal basis for processing your personal data is performance of the contract and/or implementation of measures prior to concluding such contract. In the event of any changes to your personal data, we kindly ask you to update them in your user account so that the ordered products can be successfully delivered to you.You also have the option to subscribe to newsletters in our E-shop.
5. Subscription is possible by entering your e-mail address and confirming consent to processing of the e-mail address for newsletter purposes. Subsequently, we will send a message to your e-mail address in which you will confirm your subscription once again. For the purpose of sending commercial communications, we process your e-mail address based on your consent. If you wish to unsubscribe from newsletters, you may do so at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” option in the delivered e-mail or by withdrawing your consent to processing of your e-mail address via the above-mentioned contact e-mail address.
6. Your personal data will be transferred, to the necessary extent, to the selected carrier for delivery of the ordered goods. In connection with maintenance of our computer systems, our hosting and IT service providers may have access to your personal data. Your personal data may also be transferred to our accounting and tax service providers and/or legal service providers in connection with enforcement of our potential claims.Your personal data will be processed for a period of four (4) years from delivery of the relevant goods ordered in our E-shop for the purpose of ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations (especially handling complaints and enforcement of contractual claims), or for a period of four (4) years from termination of the relevant contract in the case of our contractual partners. Tax documents containing your personal data are archived in accordance with the VAT Act for a period of ten (10) years. 7. Your user account will be deleted in the event of inactivity lasting more than four (4) years; deletion of the user account does not affect archiving pursuant to the first sentence of this paragraph. In the event of subscription to newsletters, your e-mail address will be processed for this purpose for a period of five (5) years or until withdrawal of your consent; withdrawal of consent does not affect processing of the e-mail address on another legal basis. Archiving periods are specified in the controller’s retention and archiving policy and result from generally binding legal regulations or the controller’s decision where not specified by law. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place when processing personal data on our part.
III. WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
1. Under conditions set by generally binding legal regulations, you have the right of access to your personal data (i.e. the right to obtain information from us as to whether we process your personal data and, if so, what data and how it is processed). We provide this information through this notice.
2. You have the right to rectification of inaccurate personal data. If you discover that the personal data we process does not correspond to reality (e.g. misspelled name, change of address), you have the right to request correction or completion of the relevant personal data.
3. In certain cases, you also have the right to erasure if:
- your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;
- you withdraw consent on the basis of which the relevant personal data was processed by us;
- you object to processing of your personal data in cases specified by generally binding legal regulations and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for processing on our part;
- your personal data has been processed unlawfully; or
- your personal data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation applicable to us.
4. You have the right to restriction of processing provided that:
- you contest the accuracy of your personal data for the period necessary for us to verify its accuracy;
- unlawful processing of your personal data has occurred and instead of erasure you request restriction of processing;
- you have objected to processing;
- in other cases specified by generally binding legal regulations.
5. You also have the right to object to processing of personal data based on our legitimate interest and the right to data portability in cases specified by generally binding legal regulations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection (
www.uoou.cz), if you believe that processing of your personal data is contrary to legal regulations. If you have any doubts or questions regarding processing of your personal data by us, you may contact us at any time using the above-mentioned contact details.
6. We require the requested personal data from you in order to fulfill the contract and/or process your order in the E-shop. Of course, you are under no obligation to provide us with your personal data; however, without the necessary personal data it is not possible to conclude a purchase agreement with us and order the requested product (we would not know where to send the product, neither we nor the delivery company could contact you regarding delivery, etc.).
IV. USE OF COOKIES
1. In order to ensure the best possible user experience in the E-shop and to ensure its full functionality, we use so-called cookies in the E-shop. These are small text files stored on your device. More information regarding the cookies used can be found here.
2. Some cookies are deleted immediately after closing your web browser (temporary cookies), while other cookies remain stored on your device and allow us to recognize your browser during your next visit to the E-shop (persistent cookies). Thanks to these cookies, for example, you can see which products you viewed during your previous visit or return to the contents of your shopping cart if you did not complete your purchase.
3. In your internet browser, you can configure rules for the use of cookies – you can usually decide individually whether to accept them or reject them, either for specific cases or generally. Refusal of cookies may limit the functionality of the E-shop.
4. The E-shop also uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Czech Republic, s.r.o. (
www.google.cz). Google Analytics uses cookies. However, for this purpose your IP address is anonymized fully in accordance with personal data protection legislation. Google Analytics provides us with information for evaluating use of the E-shop by users and for possible improvement of the E-shop’s web environment. The Buyer may prevent storage of cookies by adjusting browser settings accordingly; however, the Seller warns the Buyer that in such case the Buyer may not be able to fully use all functions of this website.
